One morning I found our miniature dachshund proudly carrying a carrot almost as long as she was. There wasn't a hint of guilt—only pride.

Before there was a house, before there was a farm, before there was even a name, there was a marri tree.

When we first walked onto the property in Metricup, the paddocks were empty and the future was uncertain. Yet one thing immediately caught our attention — a magnificent old marri tree standing proudly in the landscape.

We couldn't have known then how important that tree would become.

Months later, it would provide the backdrop for our son's wedding and become one of the most photographed places on the property.

Looking back, it feels as though the tree was waiting for us all along.

Milly takes her role in quality control very seriously.

While Asher was busy taking credit for the entire citrus harvest, Milly personally inspected every lemon before approving it for our latest batch of Three Citrus Marmalade.

Made with lemons, oranges and limes from the garden, local honey, vanilla, and a splash of Margaret River fortified wine.
