Our freshly renovated self-contained guest studio is the ideal getaway for couples or singles to explore the rainforest of Daintree National park, Mossman gorge, Cape Tribulation, The Great Barrier Reef and Port Douglas. our front door from the rainforest, mountain ranges and cane fields to the Coral Sea and Low Isles. The space is the entire downstairs, self-contained sudio of an Eco-friendly timber pole home – modern, spacious, quiet, private with a separate entrance, lockable & for your use only. With an open plan living area, the studio has high ceilings and consists in a Queen bed, an Ensuite, a lounge and kitchenette areas all overlooking the beautiful scenery and enjoying the sea breeze. The kitchenette features a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, blender, toaster and dining table. The studio has fan, air-conditioning, a smart tv with Netflix (please note we have no aerial channels) and is fully insect screens for your comfort. The studio patio has a double seat lounge, an outdoor table for two and an hanging egg chair. Guests have use of the swimming pool and sundeck, which are both positioned at the second level of the house to take most of the vast and stunning views. Our guests have access to our free unlimited WiFi and the laundry tub to clean their dishes. The washing machine & dryer are available on request. We (the hosts) occupy the upstairs area with our lovely two fur babies (Huskies). I'm (Caroline) a massage therapist, so as part of your stay you welcome to book a lovely Swedish relaxation massage in our studio or on our veranda to enjoy the beautiful view and surroundings with the song of the birds as music. There are many different species of butterflies (including the beautiful Ulysses Butterfly) and a wide array of birdlife. If you are lucky, you can even see goannas.
