🐳🐳🐳4:00pm: Three Southern Rights out from Kings Beach, heading west

🐳🐳🐳3:22pm: Three Southern Rights in between the Bluff, and West Island, Victor Harbor

🐳🐳🐳3:10pm: The three Southern Rights now at Petrel Cove, Victor Harbor

🐳🐳🐳2:32pm: Three Southern Rights 50m off The Bluff Jetty, Victor Harbor

🐳🐳🐳2:10pm: Three Southern Rights 150m off the Bluff Jetty, Victor Harbor

🐳🐳1:40pm: Two Southern Rights 250m south of Wright Island, heading towards, The Bluff

🐳🐳🐳1:20pm: The Big Duck Boat Tours have spotted Three SRW 100m off Wright Island, heading towards the Bluff, Victor Harbor

🐳🐳🐳11:10am: 2-3 Southern Rights southwest of Granite Island.

🐳🐳🐳10:50am: Southern Rights are active and moving quickly, now behind Granite Island

🐳🐳🐳10:25am: Southern Rights are now headed behind Granite Island towards Seal Island.

🐳🐳🐳10:05am: Three Southern Rights east of Screwpile Jetty, Granite Island

🐳9:50am: One Whale out from Carrickalinga, heading north.

🐳🐳🐳9:30am: Three Southern Rights out between Granite Island, and Hayborough.

🐳🐳7:30am: Mum and calf out from Goolwa Beach

WHAL SIGHTINGS - Friday 26 June 2026

It's Fri-yay, and We think the Whales know too! 🐳💙

🐳🐳2:54pm: Two Humpbacks 200-300m out between Petrel Cove, and Wright Island, Victor Harbor.

🐳2:05pm: One Whale out from petrel cove about 1km out, heading west

🐳2pm: Two unidentified Whale at Hallett Cove breaching, about 1 km out, heading north.

🐳12:45pm: One Whale spotted out from Chiton, heading east, towards Middleton.

🐳12:30pm: One Whale spotted at Rapid Bay

🐳🐳12:25pm: 2 Whales spotted a couple hundred metres off Christies Beach, splashing and blowing.

Enjoy a late morning journey through the Adelaide hills from Mount Barker, down into Strathalbyn where you will enjoy a Christmas themed lunch at the Victoria Hotel.

After enjoying few hours in Strathalbyn for Christmas in July, the train departs and saunters its way home to Mount Barker.
