It is indeed great news about Exedia backing down over rate parity with our own websites.
What about other webites such as Booking.com.? If, by some chance there is a price difference between the 2, they are quick to tell us that our ranking on their website is falling!!
Will they continue to use this tactic to force us to run so called specials and promotions that further erode our margins.
For both OTAs, our web ranking is very dependent on being part ogf campaigns and the special deals we give them.
Is this our next campaign?

"The two people who run the motel are lovely, they telephoned me to check our booking prior to us arriving (we had to cancel 1 of the 3 rooms) and when we arrived they were very friendly and welcoming. When we got into the room the air conditioner was going and the room was delightfully cool. The bathroom has been renovated and is very nice. The rooms are large - we had a queen and single bed in our room. The rooms are soundproof too - didn’t hear or neighbours at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. The kids loved McDonslds across the road too!"
