Congrats to Brock Smith on taking out yet another evening of card playing arranging...

AND it gives him a HUGGGEEEE advantage on the Final Table of the April TOC to be played at the edge on Saturday the 9th of May.. with a T45,000 start stack, basically double of the rest of the field...

Congratulations to Sunraysia's favorite bowls player and now Poker player "Nifty" Neville Hodgetts as he takes down an Alliance Poker night at the Sandbar and also claims a TOC April seat in the process...

Shooting sharper than at the rink, Neville often had better than "Jack High", and clinched the victory over poker mainstay Alan "Editor" Erskine... Well bowled NEV....

CONGRATS to Nick Mosello as he enters the fray of mad pundits in the April TOC, after his win on Tuesday night at the Sandbar...

But it was a 4 way chop, with all the top four runners getting an equal slice of the Sandbar pie as another good crowd of 35 attended...

Nick, who is the son of APL legend Ross Mosello and Mildura City soccer club hall of famer, has been proving himself a handful at the tables of late and is a deserved winner of our recent game...

CONGRATS TO BROCKY SMITH, on taking out another event at the Cider Tree on Thursday night..

And look at the hand this muppet won with... 2- 4... Affectionately known as gangster... And if i wasn't there to see it, I wouldnt of believed it... Brock was battling with Sione and stacks were fairly level with Brock, the slight advantage... Sione on the button jams all in pre-flop and Brock SNAP CALLS with 2-4.. The board runs out J-8-6-7-5, and the muppet binks the "dumb end: of a straight, to beat Sione's A-3..

Woop woop.. Bricky Stone has been threatening to win one of these and he finally has... CONGRATS BRICKY!!

And what a good night to do it on too... 39 runners, $690 prize pool... sweet...

It was the battle of the old timers as a vibrant Eric Bruton tried to emulate his weekend TOC March Champion achievement and went up with "Bricky" only to just fall short of another qualification..

And Sam Doolan also had a great run, and nearly got there again with a third place finish which would of given her an unprecedented T45K start stack in the April TOC final.... phew...

But well done to Bricky, if you led a horse to water often enough, eventually you will make them drink...
