🌿🌏 World Environment Day – Take a Walk on the Wild Side
One of the best ways to celebrate World Environment Day is simply to get outside and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Here in the Scenic Rim, we're incredibly fortunate to have access to some of Queensland's most spectacular walking and bushwalking trails. From peaceful lakeside strolls and rainforest walks to mountain lookouts and challenging hikes, there's something for every age and fitness level.
Guests staying at The Old Church are perfectly positioned to explore local favourites including trails around Lake Moogerah, Lake Maroon, Mount French, Main Range National Park, Mount Greville, and many of the hidden gems scattered throughout our beautiful region.
As you walk, take a moment to slow down and appreciate the birdsong, fresh country air, ancient trees, native wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes that make the Scenic Rim such a special place.
After all, protecting our environment starts with connecting to it.
