Today, we’re quietly opening the door to the next chapter of The Old Church Sanctuary. 🌿

We are so excited to announce that our retreat experiences are coming soon.

Created at The Old Church Sanctuary, and drawing on the experience and heart of our team at Encompass Wellbeing, these retreats will bring together beautiful surroundings, meaningful connection and experiences designed to help people pause, reset, grow and reconnect with themselves.

Some will be about rest.
Some about confidence and courage.
Some about creativity, connection and wellbeing.

And some may just remind you that there is still a whole lot of life waiting for you.

Set amongst the peace, history and natural beauty of our little sanctuary in the Scenic Rim, this next chapter has been quietly taking shape for quite some time.

Now, we’re ready to begin sharing it.

This is only the soft launch.

Dates, retreat themes, collaborations and experiences will be revealed soon.

A last-minute cancellation means our self-contained Olive Cabin is now available for Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, perfect timing for the Destination Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail on Sunday.

For this weekend only, guests can choose:

✨ A rare one-night Saturday stay—normally we have a two-night minimum on weekends
✨ Or Stay Saturday and Sunday nights and enjoy a slower, more relaxing Scenic Rim escape
✨ Attend the Farm Gate Trail on Sunday without the long drive home afterwards

Spend Sunday exploring local farms, meeting passionate producers and discovering fresh produce and delicious Scenic Rim flavours. Then return to the peace of The Old Church Sanctuary, put your feet up and enjoy the country stillness.

They say there’s a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow… and today, it looked like it had landed right here at The Old Church BnB 🌈✨

We may not have found a chest of gold, but we reckon we’ve found something even better, peaceful country views, beautiful gardens, fresh air, warm hospitality and a place where you can slow down, breathe deeply and simply enjoy being.

Sometimes the real treasure is the place that helps you pause long enough to notice it. 💛
