We are Andrew and Hayley, the new owners of Millaa Millaa Tourist Park, and it is our pleasure to introduce ourselves. Over the past few months, we have been diligently enhancing the park's facilities. Our camping sites, comprising rainforest, hedged, and open sites with concrete slabs, are now complemented by full amenities, a camp kitchen, BBQ hub with fire pit, swimming pool, and laundry. The park serves as an ideal base for golf at Millaa Millaa Golf Club, the waterfall circuit and birdwatching.

We are really excited to have had a bird watcher stay with us for the last few days. Over 28 bird species were documented on our 7 acres of tropical rainforest. The Cairns Birdwing butterfly was also spotted, which is the second most sort after butterfly in Queensland. Pretty amazing for us to have this amount of nature's beauty in our backyard. Last week we had a bat scientist, studying the local bats. An environmental scientist that saw the tree kangaroos for the first time in the wild.
We appreciate everyday the amazing people we get to meet here, teaching us about our backyard, that is so precious to us 🦋🌺🌴🐍🦎🦜🐦
