Well another Friday nights draw has been run and won !( lots of winners ). We had a special prizes night for Fathers Day which was very well received . Here are all the results and photos .
First members cash draw of $150 , member Jane was drawn out and unfortunately she wasn’t present , so it jackpots to $200 this week .
Our raffle draw winners were as follows ,

The normal Big Chook pack was a special prize of a BBQ pack and chocolates , member Shane was the lucky winner of these .
The Main Members Board was next with Moose being drawn out first and winning himself a load of red gum wood . Well done ! Still some chilly nights ahead of us .
Second prize , the bottle of wh***ey was won by member John .Happy drinking .
Third prize of the big chocolate pack was won by member Alan . Well Done .
Chase the Joker - member Jemma’s number was drawn out and unfortunately she picked the four of diamonds so it Jackpots to $250 this Friday night .

First members cash draw , member Paula’s number was drawn out and she wasn’t present so it jackpots to $150.
Lucky Raffle winners were as follows -

$50 Grand Hotel Meal Voucher was won by Trish .
The wheel prize of $50 cash was won by Amanda .
The big chook pack was won by Trudy .
Members Main Board prizes were ,
First Trish , who won herself a $200 Woolworths voucher . Congratulations .
Second prize of the bottle of Canadian Club was won by member Barb , who next week is seeing if she can get herself a hat trick and win three in a row !
Third prize of the big chocolate pack was won by Moose . Well done .
Second members cash draw member Robyn’s name was drawn and he wasn’t present so it also jackpots to $150.
Chase the Joker saw member Daniel have a turn and unfortunately he picked the four of hearts , so the Joker jackpots to $200 .
We also presented our $200 donation for the month to the Millicent Pony Club . Kerrie and her daughter Ellie accepted the donation on behalf of the Pony Club .

Wow ! Well and truly into the eighth month of the year and number eight for the Committee Chatter Newsletter .
A committee meeting was held last Tuesday night and was well attended .
Our membership has grown and is up to 98 members , welcome to those that are new .
The New owners of the Grand Hotel will take over on Monday 24 th of August . Leandra will continue to be Manager and nothing will change for the Social Club .
A thankyou email was received by the Millicent High School Ag Class thanking us for the $200 monthly cash donation which they were the recipient of last month .
The month of August will see the Millicent Pony Club receive this wonderful gift of $200 to go towards the new build of their internal roof at their club rooms .
The September recipient will be the Limestone Coast Su***de Prevention Group . Representatives of both organisation’s will be present at the last draw of their respective months . Congratulations to both groups .
A date has been set for our Xmas Show at Lake McIntyre . The 29 th Nov . 2026 , details to come but a little birdy has let the cat out of the bag that the big man in red will be visiting again from the North Pole .🎅
Members are reminded to keep AFL Grand Final day free for a day out at the Grand . Lots of prizes , bottle shuffles will be back plus a new game will be unveiled . Prize’s for best dressed . Light lunch will be provided so put the date of Saturday the 26 th of September in your diaries .
Don’t forget we are having a special Friday night draw for Father’s Day on the 4 th of September . Lots of surprises as prize's

Well another Friday nights draw run and won ! Lots of winners . Here are the results of last Friday nights draw , enjoy the photos everyone .
1 st cash prize of $50 , members only was won by Sue , we can’t seem to get the cash prizes to jackpot !
Raffle draw winners were Trish x 3 , Phil K , Dean , Dedrie x 2 ,Leanne , Paul x 2 ,Dan x 3 , Allan , Kathy , Telita , Derek , Helena x 2 , Mandy , Nick , Jamie , Big chook pack was won by Renae , the wheel was won by Amanda and she got herself a $50 Woolies voucher . Well done every one .

Hi Everyone , welcome to our seventh addition of Committee Chatter . Wow , the year is really moving along . Another committee meeting was held last Tuesday night and was well attended .
We are currently at 95 members , welcome to all new members .
A thankyou letter was received from the Millicent and District Darts Association for our donation of $1000.
Another thankyou letter was also received from Shannon and Ian Osmond thanking the Millicent Social Club for our kind donation of $1000 for Ian’s ongoing Glioblastoma treatment .
New ideas were put forward for members to participate in as the weather gets better , bus trips , activities , so watch this space for up and coming events .
The successful AFL Grand Final day of last year will be repeated this year on Saturday the 26 th of September 2026 , a light lunch will be provided plus lots of other activities held at the Grand Hotel .
The monthly cash of $200 will this month be donated to the Millicent High School to go towards the Ag students trip to the Adelaide Royal Show where they are showing their cattle , this will be at this Friday nights draw , 31 st July .Members are reminded any club , charity , worthy cause etc.residing in the Millicent area can be the recipient of this wonderful donation . Please approach a committee member if you have any ideas and they will be able to help you with what information you need to receive this donation.
We are always looking for ideas , from members , on what they would like to participate in as a group , so put your thinking caps on and let’s get some great ideas happening , examples of some of the trips we have done are the Greyhounds , Trots in Mt Gambier .
