Each month the Grand Hotel Millicent Social Club donates $200 to a local organisation. This month it was donated to the Millicent Pony Club to help with maintenance and repairs to the club rooms after receiving storm damage. Kerrie and her daughter, Ellie accepted the donation on behalf of the Pony Club from Social Club president Shane. If you would like to put forward an organisation for consideration, please see a committee member on Friday nights.

Which pub in Millicent is the oldest? Which is the youngest? Which one has not always been used as a licensed venue? Well now you can find out - thanks to a great incentive by the South East Family History Group who have erected plaques on each of Millicent's three pubs outlining the history of each building. Great for not only our visitors and but also for our locals to read about the history of each building. Photos from SE Times.
