Spring has sprung at Hawthorn Hill Bed & Breakfast Millthorpe After missing out last year. Our Sebastapol geese ladies sat and sat on eggs. And just when we thought all hope was lost we have 8 little goslings.

Just had one of my most positive experiences as an AirBnB host in these past 2 years. For the last 3 days I had an elderly couple Artem and Natalia as guests from the Ukraine.
(Yes I Googled. As long as you aren't of compulsory Army service age you are free to travel abroad.) This couple were so sweet and I saw tears in their eyes.
1. When I assured them Australia stands with Ukraine in this stupid war.
But 2. As they drove to our place from nearby Orange and saw two properties flying the flag of Ukraine in support.
It meant so much to them. Just beautiful. Was such a pleasure to host them. 💙💛

Here at our little BnB we luv supplying home grown or locally sourced produce. From our own eggs, tomato's, strawberries, raspberries, chives and capsicum. To Windy Reefs home made chutney, Robanco Meats chipolates and streaky bacon, and Ashcrofts on Pym. But I especially luv my relationship with the wonderful ladies at Angullong Wines right here in Millthorpe and always provide their amazing wines to my guests. And that's why I am especially grateful to be flying the flag (or umbrella) for this magnificent local business.
