I finally decided it was time to get on the pie bandwagon today and purchased a couple of 1st place winning Raspberry Goldfields Cookie Pies. If you are looking for an excuse to visit Ballarat this is definitely it! With a double chocolate cookie base, delicious raspberry filling and a sprinkle of crushed iconic Sovereign Hill raspberry drops, this cookie pie certainly delivers the good. These pies are locally made in Miners Rest just down the road from St James and on sale from for the month of August. Time to book your stay now and get a taste of this award winning pie
