It's that time of year! Our famous camp oven dinners are BACK! 🥳

Sunday the 3rd of May we are kicking them off for the season, bookings are ESSENTIAL! 📞

$25 for a 2 course dinner, beef and red wine stew with a delicious apple crumble dessert. Payment must be made at the time of booking 😄

If you're a local and would like to attend - that's fine! But you do need a booking as we cook to our numbers on the night 👍

Geez we're lucky out here - after a 3 week holiday down south we couldn't wait to get back home to settle in for the gorgeous weather and beautiful crisp mornings that are starting to hit 🤗

We've had a few folks coming through lately, the fire pit has been up a few nights, and looking like a few more! Life doesn't get better than this we don't reckon 🏕️

By the way, we've also started a Stay 7, Pay 6 deal to help folks out that want to stay a little longer, and it repeats weekly! So either drop onto our website and book online, or give us a call (hopefully you'll get Meagan, not me! 🤪 )

⛽ FUEL TRACKER ⛽

The South West Queensland Regional Organisation of Councils (SWQROC) is attempting to tackle fuel fears with the release of an online platform.

The fuel tracker provides up-to-date information on fuel availability across six south west councils - Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie, Maranoa, Balonne and Bulloo. ✅

SWQROC deputy chair Shaun 'Zoro' Radnedge said fuel availability, not necessarily price, has been the main concern raised by travellers. 🛻

"With our tourism season just starting we didn't want to wait weeks for a broader solution - we acted quickly because our communities and businesses need support now," he said.

Things are a bit nuts right now, so Sonny is taking a breather to enjoy the little things in life. 🏕️

If you're on the road and feeling a bit stuck in this crisis, we know the feeling (boo, covid!). We'd like to offer folks that have nowhere to go a safe place with a discounted rate for a longer term stay, a month or more if you have a caravan, motorhome or camper trailer.

Time for a little break between the busyness of working on the park and the bloody hot weather! 🥵

It's coming around to that time! We're looking forward to seeing all of our regular guests, and some new faces in the coming months! We'll have all your favourite things going at the park, including entertainment (if you're an entertainer and want to partake, let us know!), camp oven dinners and nightly fires once we start to get into the cooler weather 🥳

One of the boys dropped this charming little crest feather the other day! 🪶

Major Mitchell Cockatoo's/Pink Coockatoo are absolutely gorgeous birds, we're so lucky to have a couple of them here at the park 😍

When you stop by, come and say hi - they might put on a show for you! 🌠
