Winbi Moama Resort - Murray River Units

On Saturday, 21st March, at the Brick Alley Oval (enter via Kirchhofer), Moama, from 11 am to 6pm, the Moama Boatarama, presented by the Moama Water Sports Club, is on.

We want to see an exciting variety of boats—from social boats to thrilling ski and race boats, plus hotted up Tinny's! (Sorry, Jet Skis are not permitted, but boat lovers will have plenty to enjoy.)

Food and drinks will be available at Boatarama. NO BYO alcohol permitted.

Entry will be $5 per person.
Stay tuned for more exciting information as we get closer to the big day!

The Southern 80 Ski Race has a new date for 2023.

24th to the 26th March 2023.

The river is slowly receding away in Echuca/Moama, and we look forward to seeing the river within its banks in the coming weeks ahead. The bushlands around the river are wet and will need to be assessed by Parks Victoria and NSW National Parks and Wildlife to ensure safety for all.
With this in mind, the Moama Water Sports Club have decided to review the date for the Southern 80 Ski Race from the traditional date in February to a new date, the 24th to the 26th of March.

We encourage you to visit Echuca/Moama over the coming holiday period and discover our region beyond the river.

We look forward to seeing you for the 2023 Southern 80 on the 24th to the 26th March 2023.

THE RIVER IS NOW OPEN! 😀 -It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for! 🎉 NSW SES has announced that subject to some restrictions, as of 4.00pm on Friday 2 December 2022, the Murray River emergency declaration area between Hume Dam and Perricoota Station has been removed. Woohoo! The river is now open. *|URL|

Remember these safety restrictions... and if you don't really have to go boating recreationally don't for a while yet.

⚠️Maximum speed limit of 15 knots (unless otherwise signposted), and
⚠️Towing of persons is prohibited, and
⚠️ Minimal wash must be produced
