Many of you would know the Herron family from your travels to Riverwood Downs. Many of us, along with our guests, have stopped at their coffee hut in Booral for a delicious cappuccino and cake. ☕🍰

Sadly, on Friday night, a devastating fire tore through their home and shed, severely damaging their house, vehicles, tools, treasured belongings and irreplaceable family memories.

Thankfully, the family and their animals are safe. However, both vehicles are undriveable, everyday essentials need replacing, and their family business operated from their home kitchen and coffee hut has also been brought to a sudden stop.

If you’re in a position to donate, no amount is too small. If you’re unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this fundraiser can also make a meaningful difference.

Let’s come together as a community and help the Herron family through this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

What a way to spend the long weekend, lots of sunshine, smiles and plenty of fun at Riverwood Downs! ☀️🍃

It was great watching the game together in the Woolshed and cheering on the Knights! They didn’t quite get the win, but what a close game! 💙❤️

For almost 1️⃣5️⃣ years we have been going to this little piece of paradise near Gloucester, and every time we visit, it never disappoints 🥰

Riverwood Downs is on the Karuah River and we can’t love it enough - especially when it comes with limited internet access which forces you to detach 💻

Whether you like camping or enjoy the luxury of your own room and shower, Riverwood Downs has it all covered 👍

Puppies are welcome (hence the puppy cafe and puppy menu), and the days are filled with games of cricket, riding the rapids, canoeing, fishing, bike riding, horse riding, bushwalking, BBQing, relaxing and whatever else your heart desires 😎

This time around we went with our puppies only as our boys were all working 💪

The weather was ridiculously good and the river was so clear that even the bottom of the deepest pools were visible to the naked eye 👁

Oh, and there is also a fully licenced restaurant, a snooker room, an undercover pool and a massive hall that doubles as a wedding venue (which we have delivered quite a few wedding cakes to over the years) 🎂

But the best part - this has been handed down through a family that now sees the 2️⃣ daughters and 4️⃣ granddaughters of the original owners very active and involved in the business 💕

What an unbelievable weekend 🍻

The 31st edition of the Monkerai B&S was an absolute ripper!

A massive thank you to the organisers, committee, staff, artists and everyone else behind the scenes who make this event what it is. Give yourselves a bloody big pat on the back for another brilliant year 👏

Currently sitting at Sydney Airport waiting for a flight back home to Victoria and pretty keen to get stuck into the memory cards!

Can’t wait to start getting the highlight photos up and relive it all again 📸🔥
