Monto Cabin and Caravan Park is a peaceful place to stay on your Queensland journey. We are set on 5 and 1/2 acres with lots of space & shade overlooking rural pastures. Stay in your van or in one of our 12 air conditioned budget or fully self-contained cabins. We receive high praise for our spotlessly clean amenities and guest laundry. Take a swim in the pool, sit around a camp fire and look out

for the 90+ native birds that visit us. Monto is a small, friendly country town in the North Burnett region with two pubs offering good tucker. You'll find cafes with great coffee, bakery and all the conveniences of a great country town less than 1.5km from our park. Make sure you visit Mungungo and Mulgildie pubs for lunch or dinner - both a short drive away. Our guests use our park as a base for exploring the picturesque Cania Gorge. A tourist must see with towering cliffs, ancient caves and sheltered gorges. Bushwalkers can choose from eight walks of varying length & difficulty. Our park is conveniently positioned on 'The Country Way' (A3) for those travelling in any direction: Biloela and Gladstone to the north and Bundaberg to the east. We are the perfect base for exploring and enjoying what this region has to offer.

Monto Cattle Drive Campfire Dinner

Gather around the fire for a relaxed evening of country hospitality at the Monto Cattle Drive Campfire Dinner. Set against the beautiful backdrop of “Nestor Vale”, Cania, this special event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy great food, good company and an authentic bush atmosphere.

Guests will enjoy a delicious 3-course camp oven roast meal, multi-draw raffle, campfire entertainment and a true taste of the Australian outdoors. Whether you’re part of the ride, supporting the event, or simply looking for a great night out, everyone is welcome.
