A slower start to the day… just the way it should be ☀️

There’s something about those early mornings at the retreat — the light coming through the trees, a quiet coffee by the fire, and nowhere you need to be.

Autumn is a great time to escape for a few days. Cooler nights, comfortable days, and plenty of space to unwind and enjoy it at your own pace.

Whether it’s a short break or a longer stay, it’s the perfect spot to reset and recharge.

Mornings like this are just a short walk from the retreat 🌿

The mist rolling through the Gorge, the quiet, and those views once the sun starts to come up… it’s well worth getting out early for.

One of the best parts about staying here is having easy access to walks like this and being able to take it all in at your own pace.

Autumn is a great time for it too — cooler mornings, comfortable days and perfect conditions for exploring.

There’s something special about this time of year at the retreat 🍂

The days are still warm and perfect for getting out and exploring, but the evenings have started to cool off… just right for sitting back and enjoying a campfire under the stars 🔥

It’s a quieter, more relaxed time to visit — whether it’s a couple of nights away, a weekend escape or just a chance to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

Wake up to fresh air, take a walk through the Gorge, and finish the day by the fire.

Autumn really is one of the best times to experience Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat 🌿

We were lucky enough to be featured in the North Burnett News over Easter 😊

It was great to see the weekend captured so well — from the kids’ activities and shows through to the relaxed atmosphere around the retreat.

Easter is always a special time here, and it’s really about families coming together, the kids having a great time, and everyone just enjoying the space and experience.

A big thank you to Emma Scragg for putting the article together and sharing what we do here at Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat 👍

😄 Magic, laughter and a very confused helper…

This was one of the moments from the Easter Sunday magic show, safe to say it had everyone laughing.

It’s always great getting the kids involved and seeing their reactions.

What an Easter weekend we’ve just had 😊

So many great moments across the park, kids racing around the scavenger hunt, the excitement of the Easter egg hunt, plenty of laughs at the circus and magic shows, and the fire show lighting up the night 🔥

It’s always special seeing families come together, kids making new friends and everyone just enjoying the relaxed atmosphere that makes Cania Gorge what it is.

🏁 And they’re off!

Our Easter scavenger hunt is always a hit with the kids — a bit of fun, a bit of adventure and a dash of competition to keep things interesting 😄

First prize is a $10 voucher for the park kiosk… so there’s definitely some motivation!
