This week we had 2 reasons to celebrate at The Barrel: a new look for Clouds Vineyard and an expanded range.

We wanted the Clouds Vineyard brand to reflect the local pride we have and our enviable location. Like the vineyard itself, our labels now showcase the stunning backdrop of The Glasshouse Mountains and features the natural tones and hues that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland is renowned for.

As we continue to grow we are also pleased to announce the introduction of Prosecco & Premium Tawny Port into our range. These are available in a wine flight or by the glass from this weekend at The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard and Clouds Montville.

We are proud supporters of “Hinterland Healing”, an initiative by Maleny Commerce & Montville Chamber of Commerce in support of flood affected business owners in the Gympie region.

Gympie and surrounds have experience multiple severe flooding events recently, and while the damage to property is visible the impact on mental health can remain hidden. That’s why we were proud to offer breaks at Clouds Montville & Clouds Mapleton, as well as meals at The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard to a few of our Gympie neighbours as part of the “Hinterland Healing” initiative.

Thanks also to Andrew Wallace - LNP Federal Member for Fisher, Andrew Powell MP, State Member for Glasshouse and Tony Perrett, State Member for Gympie for their assistance coordinating the delivery of this great concept.

There is always sunshine after the storm clouds roll though. And there is good reason why the Sunshine Coast Hinterland is the most welcoming region in Australia.

Well it's another year done, so farewell to 2021!

Looking back over the last 12 months, it has certainly been eventful. Lockdowns and restrictions have made it tough but we made it through. It's nice to come to the end and feel proud - proud of our team that put in an amazing effort day in, day out, proud of what Clouds Retreats has become, and proud to be part of an amazing community in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Wishing you a fun-filled, healthy, safe and very happy 2022. Whatever it brings, we hope you find time to laugh, and enjoy a little relaxation.
