What have we been up to while we’ve been closed?
Rebranding, obviously… into a luxury chicken day spa 🐔✨

Today’s treatments included:
• Bubble bath (premium service) 🫧
• Full body fluff & blow-dry (wind assisted) 💨
• Complimentary grass tasting platter 🌿
• Zero complaints from highly pampered clients (just a few side-eyes)

These girls took their roles very seriously… the chickens, not so much 😂

Safe to say the chooks are refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for our grand re-opening… we’ll see if they leave us a 5-star review.

Waking up in the Loft Room at The Spotted Chook 🌿✨
Soft pink skies, mist rolling over the hills, and the gentle chorus of birds welcoming the day — it’s something truly special up here in Montville.

This morning’s soundscape (captured right from the balcony) features a beautiful mix of local birdlife, identified with the Merlin Bird app — from the melodic Eastern Whipbird to the cheerful Scaly-breasted Lorikeet. A perfect little symphony for nature lovers and bird watchers alike.

Our winter pop up is coming to an end! It's been great to reconnect with everyone over this gorgeous season!! Get in fast - we have a few rooms available next weekend and just our romantic Amelies this weekend!!! Then we close again till next winter!
