💛 A Little Easter Thank You 💛

It’s been a challenging time for many, including us at Moonta Bay Accommodation, with rising living costs and higher cancellations this Easter.
To those who have still been able to get away and stay with us thank you, we truly appreciate your support.

We are heartbroken to share that our most loyal visitor and much‑loved little mascot, Ollie the cat 🐈🐾, has sadly passed away.

So many of our guests will remember being warmly greeted by our friendly neighbouring cat, who loved to wander the property in search of pats, cuddles, and the occasional cheeky snack.

From cheerful greetings to the moments guests kindly alerted us that Ollie had found himself locked in the shed🤭
He certainly made a lasting impression on those who stayed with us.

Marc and I will miss him following us around while we cleaned, always hopeful for a little milk, and sometimes proudly leaving us his “gifts” 😅.
Ollie was more than just a visitor he was special part of our property, and he will be missed.

We extend our warmest thoughts to Greg and Wendy, Ollie’s most loved humans
and thank everyone who showed him so much love 🤍🐈

This weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting one of the most well-behaved house guests at Moonta Bay Accommodation meet Missy, a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy! 😍

Missy joined us with her lovely humans, Tony and Chris, for a relaxing getaway filled with sunshine, sea breezes, and plenty of tail wags 🌞🐶

⭐⭐⭐ HAPPY 4 YEAR ANNIVSARY TO US ⭐⭐⭐

Can you believe this photo was taken 4 years ago?

Four years ago, Marc and I took a leap of faith and embarked on our journey into small business ownership! Some thought we were crazy, wondering how we would juggle our weekday jobs while running the business remotely. It hasn't been without its stresses (and my need to cover my grays every 6 weeks 😅), but it's been an incredible adventure.

We owe so much to our amazing employees who help us day in and day out to look after the property ❤. And to our wonderful guests, especially those who return regularly and promote us 📣, thank you for your unwavering support!

The most exciting news? After 4 years, we are finally moving over to the Copper Coast in the next few weeks 🥳. Marc has handed in his notice at work and will be full-time at the property, working on those much-promised upgrades. Stay tuned—it's going to be an even more exciting journey for us!

Hello Everyone, ⭐⭐⭐

On February 3rd, 2025, we lost one of Moonta Bay Accommodation's biggest supporters, Lea-Anne, who was also Katrina's mum, to a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

During Lea-Anne's final days, Katrina and her family spent time at the Mary Potter Hospice in North Adelaide. We were deeply touched by the immense love and support the staff and volunteers provided during those difficult times. Their kindness and care meant the world to us. ❤

To help continue raising funds for this incredible foundation, our family will be participating in the Walk of Love on May 25th, 2025. We will be walking 7kms on the day. If you have any spare dollars, please support us and other families by donating here: https://walkforlove.org.au/katrina-weber
