🌟 It takes special people to open the doors of their business and invest their time in helping others learn. A huge thank you to Jan and Sally for recently hosting Jarrod and Penny as part of their motel management work placement at Moore Park Beach Inn.

Jan and Sally generously shared their knowledge, experience and the day-to-day realities of motel operations, giving Jarrod and Penny invaluable hands-on experience that simply can't be learnt from a textbook.

🥰Jan and Sally modestly commented that "you can be a great player but not necessarily a great coach." From where we are standing, they have proven they are both.

Mentoring the next generation of moteliers is one of the greatest gifts we can give the small to mid-sized motel industry, and motelsos.com is incredibly grateful to properties who are willing to share their time, wisdom and encouragement.

Lovely and down to earth people, we stayed one night with our pup which they were very gracious and accommodating about. Great pool area and cute rooms set up with everything you could need.

Location is a 5-10 min stroll to the beach and food truck, and a dog park across the street which was a massive bonus for us!!

Excellent!!!!
The owners couldn’t have been more helpful ❤️ You can clearly see that the owners take pride in their work. Our room was beautifully decorated and super clean. The grounds were very well looked after, and the pool area didn’t disappoint either. Such a tranquil place to stay.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Members of the Men's Shed are dedicated individuals who often have some spare time on their hands, particularly in between doctor appointments 🤣 They come together to work on various projects, sharing skills and knowledge while creating beautiful handcrafted items. For example, just recently we received delivery of three stunning benches that were made right here in the shed. The craftsmanship is absolutely exceptional, and I can only imagine the price tag if these were purchased at a retail shop!
But here's the best part: you can actively participate in making these projects! By joining the Men's Shed, not only will you be saving money on your own projects, but you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and skills alongside others. It's a great way to meet new friends, build community connections, and be a part of something truly special.
