Main Street closed to traffic Sunday June 7th 2026 to allow for music and entertainment.

Bars, and restaurants will also come alive over the KING’S BIRTHDAY LONG WEEKEND – with the sights and sounds of the 12th Mornington Winter Music Festival. The Mornington Winter Music Festival is held on the June QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY LING WEEKEND and sees Mornington come alive with a celebration of Music, Arts and Heritage. Internationally recognised Jazz Artists James Morrison, Vince Jones, Frank Ben

nett have performed along with rock icons such as Deborah Conway and more. The dynamic music program, along with the Historical Jazz Train, Historical Trails, MPRG nd much more all happening over the weekend – it’s a weekend not to be missed in Mornington! For three days, the streets, restaurants, cafes, hotels, galleries and parks will come alive with a diverse mix of rock, jazz, blues, swing, traditional, progressive, classic offering something for everyone the buskers and roving performers along Main Street! Come and soak up the atmosphere from every street corner, in restaurants, cafes and bars in Mornington!

Bringing wit, rhythm, and a healthy dose of real talk, The Roomatics are hitting the streets with a set full of sharp original tunes and crowd-pleasing covers. From hipster beer prices to jetski drama and man bun debates, no topic is off-limits — and no performance is without laughs, groove, and a little local truth.

Known for their energetic gigs around the Mornington Peninsula, this band isn’t afraid to say what everyone’s thinking — all while keeping you dancing.

Formed in 2001 for a local church fair, this incredible 18-piece band + vocalist has been performing together ever since — delivering unforgettable live music experiences that get toes tapping and spirits soaring.
