The ‘Fiddlers Loft’ story
Welcome from your hosts Lisa & Bruce; we are empty nesters who seachanged to the pristine coast town of Moruya on the Far South Coast of NSW. Purchasing a small acreage we called ‘Fiddlers Loft’ (as both our girls played the Fiddle). The property consisted of an incomplete rough sawn cedar loft home, a shell of a self contained unit and a large farm shed. Over the years the buildings are complete and the gardens are a continuous work in progress and the rustic, serene ambiance which we have been working towards is coming to fruition.
Creature Comforts on the Coast offers pet friendly accommodation, close to Moruya township, Moruya showground/Eurobodalla Dressage Club & Moruya Rodeo grounds. Horse & dog friendly beaches are scattered along the coast only a short drive from Moruya.
‘The Shack’ (just what we have always called the unit) is a very roomy, one queen bedroom unit with a comfortable queen sofa bed in the lounge area, kitchenette, full size fridge/freezer, small oven with two hotplates, microwave, reverse cycle air conditioning and a POT BELLY STOVE for your winter visits. The Shack has a secure dog yard with both shade & sunny areas and we also offer two horse stables with solid yards, automatic watering system & bedding upon request. The horse yards open up onto a clean 1/2 acre paddock for your use.
