Although Shipwreck Bay is only a short flight from civilisation on the other side of the Daintree River, it is one of the only privately owned remote & isolated Beach Properties on the East Coast of Australia.
Surrounded by World Heritage National Park & The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Shipwreck Bay has no road or public access. It is recognised as having some of the oldest & best preserved Coastal Rainforest in the world and is protected by one of the best examples of Fringing Reefs along the Daintree Coast.
We are proud to announce that on July 1st 2022 Shipwreck Bay was officially recognised as Queensland's newest Nature Refuge by Meghan Scanlon MP, Minister for the Environment and the Great Barrier Reef.
