Ski Club of Victoria Come up and see us at The Whitt Restaurant, Ike's Bar or the Coffee Garage. The place to be! Kandahar has easy access to and from Shakey Knees ski run.

The SCV was established in 1924 and was instrumental in the development of skiing in Victoria. We are passionate about skiing and mountain sports and are involved in the further development of alpine mountain activities. We are in the BEST location on the mountain adjacent to the top of Bourke Street ski run. The main lodge, The Ivor Whittaker Memorial Lodge, affectionately known as "The Whitt" is

a 4 star rated ski lodge hotel, fully serviced, with a cooked continental breakfast included. Our adjacent lodge, Kandahar, is a modern self catering cosy ski lodge where guests can cook their own meals or for a small fee can have their breakfast at The Whitt. Non in-house guests are welcome at the Whitt to enjoy the dining and bar facilities but must be signed in by members. We have great dining and bar facilities for members and guests at the Whitt and will often have live entertainment, especially on a Saturday night. Facilities at the Whitt are the main bar "Ike's Bar" with restaurant, and the famous "Dump Inn" Sports Bar with a second bar and function room, “The Governor's Lounge" which is a private lounge retreat with an open fire, for members only, and a Games Room for the kids - to keep that little ski racer amused in the evening whilst the parents can enjoy the SCV's facilities. Our north facing sundeck with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the valley is a special place to relax on a sunny day. It is a great venue for a BBQ lunch, which the Whitt will frequently offer.

We offer a unique combination of friendly membership, a great location on the mountain and quality food, beverages and accommodation all at an affordable price. Importantly, the club lodges provide safe havens for families to relax and enjoy their time at the snow. Members also enjoy exclusive rights such as accommodation, meal & beverage discounts and well organised racing and with impressive and highly sought after prizes given at the Saturday afternoon race ceremonies. The "Coffee Garage" is our innovative coffee bar and snack stop set up in the Whitt garage, with outdoor seating and an outdoor fire pit. It is a great stop for your first of the day wake up coffee, mid-morning coffee, lunch snacks, afternoon snacks, and whatever takes your fancy. Season and casual (VIP) on-site parking is available to authorised 4WD vehicles (conditions apply)
