At Greenwood Cottages, you can slow down, switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet of Victoria’s beautiful High Country. Wake up surrounded by bushland, watch kangaroos and deer wander past, enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and spend your evenings curled up by the fire.

We’re tucked away in peaceful Tolmie, yet close enough to explore Mansfield, Mt Buller, the King Valley, Lake William Hovell and so many beautiful places throughout North East Victoria.

🌿🍷 3 DAYS AT GREENWOOD COTTAGES — WE’VE PLANNED YOUR WEEKEND FOR YOU! 🍷🌿

Pack your bags, bring the dog and escape to Greenwood Cottages in Tolmie. We’ve planned three days of waterfalls, w**eries, bike rides, beautiful food, animals and cosy country nights. 🤎

DAY ONE — ARRIVE & SLOW DOWN 🏡🔥

Check in, unpack and settle into country life.

Pour yourself a drink and relax on the deck surrounded by the bush. Watch for the kangaroos and deer wandering past, cook dinner in the cottage and finish your first night around the outdoor fire under the stars. ✨

DAY TWO — WATERFALLS, WINERIES & THE KING VALLEY 🍷💦🚲

Wake up to a slow country morning before heading towards the beautiful King Valley.

💦 Take a trip to Paradise Falls and walk down to see the spectacular waterfall.

📸 Stop at Powers Lookout for some incredible High Country views.

🍷 Make your way into Whitfield and spend the afternoon exploring the King Valley’s w**eries and cellar doors.

🚲 Hire bikes and explore the area on two wheels, organise a private driver for the day, or simply take your time travelling between stops.

🧺 Pack a picnic to enjoy somewhere beautiful amongst the countryside — or settle in for a long w**ery lunch with local food and a glass of King Valley w**e.

Then head back through the mountains to Greenwood for another cosy night by the fire. 🔥

DAY THREE — MANSFIELD ZOO, LUNCH & THE MAZE 🦘🌸

Spend your final day exploring Mansfield.

🦘 Visit Mansfield Zoo, wander through the grounds and get up close while feeding some of the animals.

🌿 Then head to Mansfield Maze for lunch.

Afterwards, take your time exploring the maze and wandering through the stunning gardens before grabbing a coffee and enjoying your last afternoon in the High Country.

Then it’s time to head home… although you might not want to. 🤎
