Spring is showing off in the Perth Hills, and so are our artists!

As part of Mundaring Hills Open Studios (17–25 October), Amaroo Retreat & Spa is delighted to welcome three talented local artists in residence.

You’ll also discover the beautiful works of Stacy Gardoll and Lynette Upton, proudly showcased throughout our retreat.

Set among the beautiful surroundings of Amaroo Retreat & Spa, Venue C brings together three talented artists exploring colour, connection and the natural world.

Meet the artists!

🎨 Olivia Kalin | Aboriginal Art

A proud Noongar artist with connections to Jaru Country, Olivia grew up in the Perth Hills. Her vibrant artworks draw on Country, culture, nature and lived experiences, weaving stories of emotion, spirit and connection through colour.

🖼️ Natasha Baker | Oil Painting

An award-winning contemporary realist, Natasha creates luminous still life paintings and delicate portraits of birds and animals. Inspired by the Old Masters, her work beautifully captures light, form and quiet moments.

🎨 Josi Svendsen | Painting

A young emerging artist with a background in graphic design, Josi brings bold colour and dynamic compositions to her oil paintings, exploring the presence and personality of her subjects.

✨ And the setting? Pretty special too!

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Mount Helena, Amaroo Retreat & Spa offers a lovely backdrop for discovering art and enjoying a little fresh Hills air.
