🌿 Pull a w**d, save the bush.
Invasive plants are one of the biggest threats to the unique ecosystem around Wugudaji–Adels Grove. They spread fast, outcompete native species, and are really hard to keep under control — especially after the wet season.
If you spot any of the plants in the slides below during your stay, feel free to pull them out, roots and all. Every little bit helps, and the bush will thank you for it. 🌱

Every Thursday evening, Adels Grove goes French. 🇫🇷🥖
A 3-course menu of French specialties, made entirely from scratch. The menu changes week to week, but some things are non-negotiable. The lamb shank stays. The Quiche Lorraine stays. And the homemade bread is always there, fresh out of the oven.
Finish it off with one of our desserts and a good glass of w**e. 🍷

You might spot one curled up in the shallows of Lawn Hill Creek — and if you do, don’t panic.
The Arafura File Snake (Acrochordus arafurae) spends almost its entire life underwater, surfacing only to breathe. It doesn’t bite, it doesn’t chase, and it has no venom. What it does have is some of the strangest skin in the animal kingdom — loose, baggy, and covered in tiny scales that feel like a nail file. That’s how it catches fish: by trapping them against its body.
Completely harmless. Genuinely fascinating. Just another resident of the creek. 🌿
