Flowers as economic recovery? Only in Toowoomba! 🌸

More than 75 years ago, a handful of ambitious locals had a wildly optimistic idea — use the Garden City's blooming reputation to lift spirits and get the city back on its feet after WWII. Spoiler: it worked.

What started as a single spring celebration has grown into one of Australia's longest-running and most loved flower festivals. But the love for flowers? That hasn't changed one bit.
