The Cudgee at Mudgee The Cudgee at Mudgee is one of Mudgee's original motels. Built in the late 1960's it was known as the Cudgegong Valley Motel.

In 2025 it underwent a complete makeover. Reopening in August 2025 as The Cudgee at Mudgee the motel has been brought into the modern era with beautifully refurbished accomodation, landscaped gardens and redesigned pool area. The motel's unique location, overlooking the paddocks towards the Cudgegong River, creates an immediate sense of calm and tranquility. Cook your dinner on the BBQ, enjoy a glass of w**e under the wisteria clad pergola, or relax by the pool. Or just take a stroll around the large gardens. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful motel. A place to land and relax on your travels and to enjoy the best of Mudgee.

Just over 12 months ago The Cudgee at Mudgee was born, designed as a
modern expression of the classic country motel experience. This week we got the news that we are a finalist in the NSW Tourism Awards. Wow!
None of this would have been possible without the support of our wonderful guests and the amazing Mudgee community. Thank you so much to all of you. We are incredibly proud of what we have created together and we are so grateful for this recognition.
