Lots of neighbours this morning ... but only the feathered sort. Joined at sunrise by a host of ducks, pelicans and of course, the ever-present laughing of the kookaburras to welcome the day. The river is so quiet at this time of year.

Oh my. Elfin’s been booked out solidly for the last few months so we decided to book her out ourselves. How incredibly lucky are we to have the River Murray on our doorstep!

So excited ... an 'owners' holiday begins in 7 days. Heading upstream from our mooring at Murray Bridge to Kroehns Landing. Elfin has been constantly booked so we had to book it ourselves to enjoy the beauty on our doorstep. Counting down ...
