Big things can happen in just one year.

From March 2025 to March 2026, our riverfront has seen some incredible progress. What was once a simple riverside view is now greener, more vibrant, and filled with happy campers enjoying the space.

Over the past year we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve the park experience with upgraded sites, new landscaping, and exciting additions taking shape. And we’re not finished yet.

We’re proud of how far the park has come in just 12 months and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Hiring: Grounds & Maintenance 🌳🚤

​BIG4 Murray Bridge Riverfront Holiday Park and Marina is looking for a reliable, hands-on Groundsman to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors across our 12-hectare property, we want to hear from you!

​The Role:
​Hours: Casual to Part-Time (Weekend work required).
​Tasks: Gardening, landscaping, bin runs, and general repairs.
​Maintenance: Basic plumbing (taps, etc.) and upkeep for cabins and houseboats.

​What We’re Looking For:
​Experience in maintenance or landscaping preferred.
​Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude.
​Ability to work independently and around guests.
​📍 Location: 102-104 Roper Road, Murray Bridge.

​It’s officially been one year since the Orken family became the proud owners of the park! and what a year it has been!

While the plans were being drawn up, we’ve been physically flat out bringing them to life! 🏗️💪

​Since the rebrand to BIG4 Murray Bridge Riverfront Holiday Park & Marina, we haven't sat still. Check out the transformation we’ve pulled off in just 12 months:
• ​🤸 Jumping Pillow – kids loving it
• 🚵‍♀️ Pump Track – Assembled, opening soon.
• ​🎥 Outdoor Cinema – Perfect for movie nights under the stars.
• ​🚤 "Bucket List" Houseboat – Our unique stay right on the water.
• ​🌿 Greenery & Grounds – 30 refreshed riverfront sites, fresh turf in front of the houseboats, and new plantings at the entrance.
• ​🛠️ Infrastructure – Graveled extended stay areas and a full renovation of the Rotunda amenities.

​The transformation is officially underway. We’ve gone from a flat patch of ground to a world-class pump track taking shape right before your eyes!

​The Journey So Far:
​Before: Just an empty lot and a vision.
​Current Status: The blue modular sections are being bolted down, the curves are looking fast, and the crew is dialing in every turn.

​We’re getting closer to opening the gates for your first session. Stay tuned for more updates as we finish the final assembly!
