Lots of exciting things have been happening in Murtoa over the past 6months.

Rabl park has had an upgrade of its playground equipment and a brand new pump bike track has been added. 🛝🚲

Along with the bbqs, and the lovely grassed area, its a great spot to bring the kids.
It is guaranteed to keep the kids entertained for hours 😃😃

Victoria’s newest silo art has been lit up in the amazing Wimmera community of Murtoa. 🎉

The art features the iconic birds of the lakeside town; reflects on the local James Hill taxidermy collection - the largest collection of taxidermy in Australia; and the work of world-leading mental health practitioner Dr John Cade, who identified lithium as successful treatment for bi-polar and other psychiatric disorders, and was born in Murtoa.

The full light show will be completed in June, and will bring the artistic birds to life every evening at dusk. So plan your trip, stay the night, grab a meal at the Railway Hotel or one of the great cafes, and enjoy all that Murtoa has to offer.

The James Hill taxidermy collection is on display daily from 12-2pm at the Murtoa Water Tower Museum.
