💚 This just made our day.

After their Year 5 camp in May, students from St Catherine's School Stirling took home something special - leaves they'd collected on the Mylor grounds - and turned them into this beautiful Acknowledgment of Country artwork. We're so touched they wanted to share the finished piece with us. 🍃

A thank you to the St Catherine's community for this gorgeous gesture, and to our own Bec Dennert for the care and connection she brought to her time with these students. And to the teacher who said the grounds are "soothing for my teacher soul" - we felt that. 🌿

This National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June), we join the call to be All In for reconciliation – every single day.

The 2026 theme, All In, encourages all Australians to step off the sidelines and stop being spectators in reconciliation, instead taking meaningful, wholehearted action every day.

Reconciliation lives in the everyday choices we make, the conversations we have, and the relationships we build.

What a way to kick off May!🧡 We were proud to host the SA State Emergency Service State Rescue Challenge 2026 here at Mylor Adventure Camp - what an incredible display of skill, teamwork and dedication from volunteers across South Australia. Congrats to all crews, and a big shoutout to Metro South State Emergency Service on taking out the title for the second year running! 🏆

Three bespoke cubby houses, built over the past six months by dedicated Men’s Shed volunteers, are now helping support women in crisis through BaptistCare’s Wright Place. 🏠

BaptistCare's Wright Place has supported dozens of women experiencing homelessness since opening in late 2023, women escaping domestic violence, housing instability and crisis. This auction is for them.

Volunteers from the Parafield Gardens Men's Shed spent six months building three bespoke cubby houses by hand and every dollar raised through this auction goes directly to Wright Place.

Bidding is open now, hosted by Harris Real Estate and closes at 5pm on 2 June.

On Anzac Day, we honour and remember the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served our country.

Today, as an organisation, we express our deepest gratitude for their commitment, strength and sacrifice.

Celebrating Cathie Sharp – 25 Years! 💚

For 25 years, Cathie Sharp has been the heart of the Mylor Adventure Camp kitchen – serving over a million meals and nourishing thousands of guests with care, kindness, and a smile.

Her days have been anything but ordinary… from feeding entire camps to, on one memorable occasion, rounding up sheep in a skirt and open-toe shoes!

What began as a weekend job grew into an incredible career, with Cathie leaving a lasting impact on everyone who walked through the doors – from schools and churches to community groups alike.

Looking back, it’s the lasting impact that means the most to Cathie:
“Never, ever, ever underestimate what we do here and the impact it has on people… Sometimes we don’t know the impact we’ve had, but just believe that we do.”

After 25 years of care, good humour, and leadership, thank you Cathie! We wish you all the very best in your retirement. 💫
