Even the sun likes to play in the maze.

On a recent walk through the hedges, I spotted these striking geometric shadows dancing across the maze walls. It looked like the sun had decided to join in and create a few puzzles of its own.

Even mazes need a clear-out now and then.

We’ve accumulated a fine collection of “useful things”, “nearly useful things”, and “why do we still have this?” things, so it’s time for a proper clean-up.

Can anyone recommend a good local skip hire company around Myrrhee, Benalla or Wangaratta?

Sometimes the most interesting thing in the field isn’t the loudest thing there. 🚗

Saw this little Mini lining up amongst a pack of serious machinery today and it made me smile. Bit like Brookfield Maze really, slightly unexpected, a little quirky, and surprisingly good fun once you give it a chance.

If you’re spending the weekend exploring North East Victoria and need a slower pace between the noise and crowds, we’re open all weekend with hot coffee, waffles, warm fires and plenty of room for the kids to burn energy.

Weather may be a bit wild, but honestly, the maze has always looked pretty magical under moody skies.

No rush. No lap times. No pressure.

Just good old-fashioned fun.
