It started with Ovarian Cancer and the passing of Michelle. Husband Ben, dog Pepe, Bens' cousin Jasmine, brothers Shaun, Adam and Brett, all dreamt that they could make a difference and raise public awareness of Ovarian Cancer by walking 800km from Sydney to Bryon Bay. A phone call from Sydney to Nambucca Heads and then on-air support from 2GB and Ray Hadley has helped them get closer. Judy at Nambucca Heads sprang into action....... Michelles brothers stayed with Judy and Ross and thanks to an on-air recommendation by Ray Hadley, they enjoyed a meal at the RSL at Macksville, and being a pet friendly motel, we welcomed Ben, dog Pepe and Jasmine. The next morning, we met with them. It was special, and it was emotional as we shared words of support and strength for the future. A 800km walk from Sydney to Bryon Bay is no mean feat and all done with love and memory of Michelle. It was an honour to be involved.
