In the interest of protecting our much loved community we will be closed for Easter starting tomorrow the 10th of April. We will reopen on the 14th but remind everyone that we can only accommodate ESSENTIAL TRAVELERS as per the current health order. If we all work together we can get back to normal sooner. Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for their patience as we had quite a few phone calls and enquiries yesterday as to what we were doing after our PMs announcement Sunday night. Along with those enquiries we had so many well wishes from our customers, friends and family for us and our staff, Thank you! Your kind words were greatly appreciated yesterday on what was a difficult day.
We also thank the board members of The Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club who put their heads together yesterday to come up with solutions to help get us both through this pandemic. After careful deliberations we have come to the decision to trade from 12-2pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. (This may be amended as we go, circumstances are rapidly changing).
The club itself will be open for takeaway drinks from 9am to 3pm. (Check their Facebook for updates)
Paul in the pro shop will be operating the course (check he’s Facebook for any updates).

COVID 19 update. We would like to let our guests know Motel MIramar is still running as normal. We have implemented extra cleaning measures to try and ensure the safety of our guests and staff. At this time we recommend our guests to “Book direct”. This will allow for easier modifications and cancellations if required in the difficult climate. Bookings made through third party websites will need to be modified directly with them and they are experiencing high volume of calls at present and may not be flexible on cancellation policies. Out of Control fire with large perimeter currently near Armidale Rd, Coutts Crossing, Nymboida, Glenreagh areas.
Fire is threatening Yarracooma, Paddys Plain, Cradle Creek & Lowanna - leave now towards Dorrigo before it's too late
If you are in Nana Glen, Coramba & Surrounds - leave now towards Coffs Harbour, do not wait.
If you are threatened by fire you may not get assistance.

Conditions across the fireground have eased
If you are in the area of Talarm, Macksville, Allgomera Creek - monitor conditions
If you are in the area west of the Pacific Highway, and your plan is to leave or you are not prepared, leave towards a safer location (Built up areas of Bowraville, Macksville, Nambucca Heads & Scotts Head).
