The mighty Flash is still with us to be sold. I really like Flash, he is big, beautiful and very comfortable to ride.
He is an absolute dream to jump, knows his job inside and out. He is well schooled on the flat and is a dream to ride out. Don't be put off by the 15.1hh, he is actually a big horse to ride.
Flash is sweet-natured, with great legs and feet. He is not suitable for a total beginner, but for someone with independent seat and hands who wants to do a little bit of everything, he would be great.

Morrfield Farm had a fantastic couple of days jumping at Jumping and dressage with the stars with our amazing Peaches n Cream 🍑

Peaches was second 🥈 both day. An amazing outcome as we only took ownership of Peaches at New Years and she hadn't seen a show jump!

A big thank you to Yvonne Morrison for taking care of Peaches for us and to the exceptionally hard working Megan Joyce for riding for us.

A huge thanks to the hardworking committee show organisers and sponsors. Very much appreciate your hardwork and sponsorship these classes are a great stepping stone for kids and ponies ❤️

New truck/Show dog Frankie joined the team this weekend at Sale. And while Laurel and l wished she hadn't vomited in the truck 😢 she did bring a lot of joy to everyone parked around us.

Laurel my amazing groom/daughter joined me this weekend and very much enjoyed that we only had two horses on the truck.

I was exceptionally lucky to place in every class l went in with my two unicorns 🦄 Sir Richard and Tulara Cleo.

Videos 📹

The below video shows me cross country schooling a young horse we have just started. The video would have you believe that she is confidently jumping into water. The truth is that we had two very experienced horses lead her, I've schooled 100's of horses and this is the very end of our session and the very top of her ability.
She isn't confident yet and most likely the next time l school her water she will act like she has never seen water before!

I have sold a lot of horses and everyone wants videos. And that is all well and good but videos can hide the truth. You never know what came before or after that video. And it won't tell you everything about a horses. The best way to get a true reflection of the horse is to talk to people, see it for your own eyes dose what you see align with what you have been told. Do some work to safeguard yourself and don't only rely on videos.

It takes a long time to build trust. 6 months is short, but this guy is a professional and he works at it. For most people it takes a year and during that year you can't lie to your horse.
So many people are in a hurry.

Dandenong Show
I would love to say that we had a great time at Dandy show this year.
The footing was perfect 👌
The course designer was 👍
The committee excellent 👌
But the weather WAS terrible 😫
With that being said and the washing and gear cleaning under way the girls and l all stayed on our horses.
It is fantastic to have Shelly back at the shows. She is such a treasure and we have missed her.

Little Barbie pony Zac is just getting better and better. He is such a sweet pony with a fantastic jump and goes in a wonderful rhythm that teaches the kids to ride correctly.

And Sir Richard and l popped around a very soggy 110m class yesterday for just one down in the jump off. He is such a fantastic horse and l am very grateful to have him.

Sir Richard being a star 🌟 today. Today l dragged the kids down to Boneo Park with Tulara Cleo and Richard on board. We have had gastro in the house all week so it was a bit of a hard slog to get there. So a big thank you to my 9 year daughter Willow for stepping up and grooming. Being 9 and holding onto big excitable WB is difficult and somewhat boring but Willow was great, she even remembered the water, the treats for the ponies and videoed!
