Today we’re celebrating all the dads, step‑dads, grandads, father‑figures and everyday heroes who make family adventures unforgettable.

From teaching the kids to bait a hook, steadying the handlebars on that wobbly first bike ride, or taking the boards for a surf together — it’s the honest‑to‑goodness moments that make Father’s Day special.

To all the dads staying with us this weekend (and those planning their next getaway), we hope your day is filled with laughter, exploring, and a well‑earned chance to relax.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at — where memories with Dad are made to last.

- GREATER

- Posted: 4:20pm, Friday 4 September

Fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly winds are forecast to develop during Saturday morning, combining with dry, unseasonably warm conditions. This will result in elevated fire dangers across the Greater Sydney Region.

These are dangerous fire conditions. People in the following Local Government Areas are advised to take action now;

🟧 Greater Sydney - The Hills; Blacktown; Blue Mountains; Burwood; Camden; Campbelltown; Canada Bay; Fairfield; Hawkesbury; Hornsby; Hunters Hill; Kogarah; Ku-ring-gai; Lane Cove; Liverpool; Mosman; North Sydney; Parramatta; Penrith; Randwick; Ryde; Strathfield; Sutherland; Sydney; Waverley; Willoughby; Woollahra; Bayside; Canterbury-Bankstown; Central Coast; Cumberland; Georges River; Inner West; Northern Beaches

Check your bush fire plan and ensure that your property is fire ready. If a fire starts, take immediate action. If you and your property are not prepared to the highest level, go to a safer location well before the fire impacts. Reconsider travel through bush fire risk areas.
