❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE & ADVANCE NOTICE ❤️

Firstly, we sincerely apologise for the unexpected kitchen closure on Sunday.

Sadly, our head chef Bek lost her younger sister Jo, aged just 40. Our hearts are with Bek, her daughter Amelia (our 2nd chef), and the entire Lemon family. 💔

🍻 THIS WEEK IS BUSINESS AS USUAL! We're back to full swing! 🥩 Steak Night tonight! 🍗 Parmi Night & Trivia tomorrow! Everything is running as normal!

❤️ ADVANCE NOTICE – THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER

As Bek, Amelia and their family lay Jo to rest, the entire hotel will be closed for lunch, reopening at 3pm, with dinner available on a restricted menu.

We apologise for any inconvenience and ask for a little extra patience and understanding with our team during this difficult time.

We're more than just workmates, we're family. Our team is hurting, but we pull together and look after our own. ❤️

Thank you all for your kindness and support.

The Bidgee Hotel Team ❤️

🎉🥳 HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR RESIDENT STAR OF THE SHOW — TAB! 🥳🎉

Bar Manager 🍻
AKA Chef Tab 👩‍🍳
Trivia Host 🎤🧠
Forklift Driver 😂
Problem Solver 🔧
Tambourine player and back up dancer 💃
Professional “I’ll sort it” person 🙌
…and whatever other job gets thrown at her on the day!

Most of you probably know Tab as the one finally sitting down enjoying a b**r… but what you don’t see is the 47 things she’s already done before she got to sit down — and the fact that the b**r usually lasts about 3 minutes before someone needs her again. 😂🍺

Behind the scenes, we all know one thing…

THE SHOW SIMPLY WOULDN’T GO ON WITHOUT HER! ❤️

Whether she’s behind the bar, in the kitchen, on the trivia mic, fixing something, moving something, finding something, solving something or somehow getting dragged into something that definitely wasn’t in her job description — Tab gets it done! 😂👏

So today we’re celebrating 30 YEARS OF TAB! 🎂🎉

Happy 30th, legend! 🍻❤️
We hope you actually get to finish a b**r sitting down today…

But we’re making absolutely no promises. 😂

Everyone give our girl a massive HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY! 🥳🍻🎂
