The Burwood Inn Boutique hotel in Merewether with excellent food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately at the moment we are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Hidden in the back streets of beachside Merewether, the Burwood Inn has been a bit of a local secret. Following an extensive renovation the revitalised Burwood Inn features a brand new a la carte restaurant with a delicious new menu, a new lounge bar and a refurbished front bar. Upstairs 8 newly renovated boutique rooms provide four star accommodation. We will resume Sunday trading on 28th November 2021 and hopefully Mondays will resume not long after that. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, we appreciate your understanding, and look forward to welcoming you on the days we are trading.

After a long three years, The Burwood Inn is finally getting ready to open its doors.. and that means we need you to help build our team!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable hospitality professionals to join us from day one to help bring this beautiful venue back to life.

We’re hiring:
• Managers and Supervisors
• Chef de Partie
• Bar Staff
• Front of House

If you love hospitality, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience is valued, but a great attitude, positive personality, and willingness to learn matter just as much.

Tony and I are hitting the outback in August, and trekking the Larapinta Trail to raise money for the Mark Hughes Foundation We are currently busy training and trying to raise a joint amount of $7000! Hey guys ❤️ We may not be reopened yet, but we are keen to throw our support behind the MHF again this year through our annual Race Day at the Newcastle Racecourse 🏇

After the amazing success of our previous two race days we are thrilled to announce this year's date for you to mark in your calendar NOW! Saturday 1st June! Tables of 10 preferred, but if you have fewer than that, no problems! You will just be sharing with other smaller groups.
