One of our very own locals Benn Coubrough has been selected as the only Australian to compete in the Badwater 135 — widely regarded as the toughest foot race on earth!

This isn’t just another ultra. It’s 135 miles of extreme heat, relentless climbs, and mental limits most people never experience.

A strong performance at Badwater opens the door to returning to the Moab 240 — a brutal 240-mile race through the Utah desert — where he’ll be lining up to compete at the front and fight for the win. Benn fought hard to finish as runner-up last year, and now it's time to go one better!

As an ultra-endurance athlete, coach, and leader in his local community, this journey represents years of discipline, sacrifice, and the pursuit of what’s possible.
