Nola's ARC

Nola's ARC Personalised, boutique holiday care for dogs Dog owners can go on holiday confident and relaxed, knowing their pets are having a great time too.

My love of animals led to the founding of Nola's Arc, as an alternative to dog hotels, boarding kennels or leaving your pet at home alone. We do not use kennels or cages, your dog lives with us and is treated as a valued member of our family. To see some of the activities your dog will experience, visit our photo gallery, featuring our dog Lucy, and many of our friendly visitors. As an experienced

dog trainer, your pet is safe and secure during our daily walks or runs on the dog beach. The property is secured with a high fence to ensure dogs are safely contained within a loving environment.

Well, the weather has certainly turned. It was scarves and woollies for the walk today but the doggies did not care. They just wanted to walk and run and sniff and p*e. Then, after all that walking and a little snack or two, Daisy Lynn and Lottie decided it was time for some serious play.

Walking with dogs is always fun or fraught, and today, once again, it was fun. The doggies were very animated and when Archie found a lost and lonely ball, the animated got excited. No pics today, just a video of two pups chasing a ball.

We are still just three, and I am getting confused about what pics I have posted and which I have not so forgive me for double posting. Quiet day at the office so we went for a walk around the park, just for a change 😆 There was a threat of rain so it was a bit touch and go, but we got out and back with just a sprinkle, extremely thankful for that. Daisy Lynn sleeps wherever without a care and Lottie sleeps where she happens to be - sometimes on two dining chairs, sometimes at the back of the couch and sometimes, sometimes she sleeps on the bed!!!

Well now we are three and it was a lovely morning for a walk before the thunder and rain arrived. It was a quiet walk without Clarry and of course Frankie's energy was clearly missing. No ball chasing, no racing after other dogs, no barking, just quiet, sedate and restrained.

And now we are three. Little Clarry went home after he had his dinner. He tried to pretend he was starving but I dobbed him in. Can't have his people thinking I don't feed them. Anyhow. we had a lovely walk before he went home, he said goodbye to Lottie, Bon and Daisy Lynn and raced off with his folks. Of course last night he got a bit confused and was talking to Lottie through the side fence - we had to remind him Lottie was still with us.

Well the weather is definitely on the turn. I am always surprised by how quickly it turns here in Melbourne, but I always keep the summer clothes handy, cos its tricky - it could be another stinker tomorrow. Speaking of stinkers, we don't have any here. Every pup is clean and fresh, apart from a bit of wet grass between the toe beans maybe. Anyhow, Harrison asked if he could meet the new residents of High St, so we snuck him out for a quick run around the park. They all loved him. He is such a sweetie. Then it was back to the Arc. for a snack and a nap.

The dogs were good again today. As it was raining,wWe had a long and serious discussion about the weather, and whether it would stop raining and whether the weather bothered wethers when it was wet. So after all that we decided it had stopped raining and we went for our walk. We got wet, and Archie forgot to wear a hat so borrowed mine cos my coat had a hood. It was all good and the pups were overjoyed, all of them got all excited and spent a lot of time racing around the park. It was exhausting just watching them. And after all that running around bowling dogs over in excitement, Frankie went home. Bye Frankie.

What a beautiful day for a walk and as we all know, its gonna get late earlier today so we went out quicker than quick and got the walk done fast. We had all dogs off lead safely and slowly, except little Clarry only had a moment or two - his recall is not that good and judging by today, his hearing is not that good either. LOL, Clarry was sniffing something interesting and had no interest in responding to my call, so he was back on the lead a nd walking with his Uncle Archie.
We found a big ball on the way to the park and Frankie likes a ball and she seriously likes a big ball, except she also had a small ball in her gob, it was a tricky ask, but she worked it out. Well done Frankie.
Oh and just for information only, we are all getting a good night's sleep. Its bliss. All the doggies are just settling down so well, no wandering around in the dark, no barking, no howling and not a single one sleeping on the bed - except for our Bon. Suffice to say there is a conga line of dog beds in the bedroom.

Out for a walk and we trusted Lottie off the lead, but still kept the long lead on (Lottie likes to hunt) but she was excellent, right by our side and no hunt happened. What a good girl. Daisy Lynn has a little lead bit longer than most but not as long as Lottie's. We had the Bon Dog with Clarry, Skipper (sometimes known as Frankie) chasing the ball and desperately trying to distract Lottie. Well to be honest, it was a fairly uneventful walk, a bit cool, a bit windy but dogs all doing what good doggies do.
