Were Back & Open for Business as of Today
Firstly, and foremost, we sincerely hope that you, your family, and friends are healthy, safe and surviving the new normal brought upon us via Covid-19. We hope that you have not been financially impacted due to the lockdown. I guess pyjamas and tracky dacks have been the new formal for many 😊. It’s been a lonely time at Portside and we are missing the interactions with all of our guests.
The Queensland Government issued a media release yesterday, announcing Major easing of restrictions that will open Queensland for Queenslanders. Queenslanders are now able to undertake unlimited travel including overnight stays throughout the entire state from midday today (June 1) in a major easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
Our cleaning regime has also been adapted to the current situation, we have incorporated Queensland Health and Work Safe Australia guidelines into our cleaning practises. We are also now developing social distancing and hygiene signage for display at the pool, BBQ, and reception as well as guest compendiums
If you find yourself missing Portside or in the need of a getaway from being couped up during lockdown, please give us a call or email us and we will work out a special deal. We are looking forward to having guests around the resort again and the chats with everyone as this is one of the main things that we miss.
