The Buxton Manor is a stunning 1909 restored large Mansion built in the William Morris ‘Arts & Craft’ theme of decorative red brick with steep sloping roof lines. It houses our best collection of Australian antiques and memorabilia and features open log fires, polished spruce floors, decorative fireplaces, marbleized ceilings, rag rolled faux paint finishes, ornate ceiling roses, gilt mirrors and
sumptuous antique beds. Buxton Manor features 4 separate very large apartments and 1 spa cottage, all of which offer private entrances, bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, unique living areas and valuable rare furnishings. Buxton Manor is surrounded by half an acre of manicured, welcoming gardens with masses of old fashioned scented roses, cottage flowers and sweeping lawns. It has been heritage listed by the State government and completely restored, and features half an acre of manicured gardens with outdoor designer furniture, umbrella's and 2 wood fire BBQs. The Musica Viva Suite has a very large king all brass and porcelain bed in the Baltic floored bedroom, kitchen, a large living room overlooking the sunken front garden and a new all marble tiled bathroom with a large double shower and heated floors. George Lowe Esquire Apartment offers 2 north facing bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Double, 1 Single), full kitchen, grand living and dining room and private bathroom. This suite is fully self-contained, is furnished with glorious Australian antiques (please note the 2nd bedroom is accessed from the master bedroom). Garden & Loft Apartment is a beautiful fully self-contained 2 storey townhouse style apartment, offering 3 bedrooms with a King bed in the master bedroom, a Queen bed and Single bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 King single beds in the upstairs 'loft' bedroom. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher and large dining table and a separate living room with LCD TV/DVD/CD and French doors opening out to the lawns of Buxton Manor. Buxton Manor offers a separate laundry adjoining the apartment with a washing machine and dryer as well as another toilet. The Butlers Apartment is a large beautifully unique, 2 bedroom apartment offering a King bed in the master bedroom and a Queen and Single bed in the second bedroom. The Butlers offers a very comfortable living room, sun room and fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Paprika Spa Cottage is a free standing Heritage cottage on the grounds of Buxton Manor, offering 2 bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Double), full kitchen, and a king size spa bathroom. The cottage is furnished with beautiful Australian antiques and has beautiful views onto the English rose gardens.
