Did you know that Northam is only second to Fremantle with 180+ heritage-listed buildings?

Now that the weather is starting to cool, our popular Historical Buildings Walking Tour* will start again from Tuesday 2 March 2021.

Learn about the history of Northam, sample local delights, visit Fitzgerald Street shops, and enjoy a private tour of the Farmers' Home Hotel or the RSL Memorial Hall.

• Duration: Approximately 90 minutes. Bring comfortable shoes & clothing / hat / sunscreen / water
• Cost: $12 per person, payable at Northam Visitor Centre (located on Minson Avenue and next door to Bilya Koort Boodja Centre)
• Starting point: Inside Northam Visitor Centre
• Time: Tour starts at 10am
• Date: Every Tuesday, but group bookings can be made for other days upon request
• Bookings: preferably made by Monday (maximum 12 people per tour).

Tuesday's guided walking tour visits some of Northam's 180+ heritage-listed buildings. The tour is $12 per person and bookings made before Monday are preferred.

If you haven't been out to see the silos that form the start of the The Public Silo Trail - Western Australia's Silo Art Trail, you should add this to your to-do list!

Northam's silos were the first to be painted in Australia, and were painted by the talented Phlegm (UK) and HENSE (USA) as part of FORM's PUBLIC2015 project.
