We are looking for outstanding individuals to join our front office reception team on a casual basis with prospects on longer term employment based on performance and personal attitude.
If you are looking for an opportunity to showcase your excellent people skills along with being part of a wonderful team and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, please apply at the earliest.
Experience in a similar role will be regarded
Roles and responsibilities include:
• Organize guest check-ins and departures and process according to procedures.
• Coordinate meeting room facilities and/or conference facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception desk and area to Quest standards.
• Role model excellent customer service at all times and behave in a manner which reflects the Quest Way.
• Handle customer complaints or requests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the property, including financial and sales targets, room rates, apartment and property features and Quest services,
• Provide prospective guests with tours and detailed information on Quest services and facilities as required.
• Record all enquiries in the Quest Reservation Form and file in the Property Enquiry Follow-Up Folder.
• Receive, record and process accommodation reservations according to the requirements of the RMS system.
• Ensure all reservation details are correct and confirmation of reservation is sent via email, fax or post.
• Accurately update and finalize transactions on guest accounts in accordance with the requirements of the RMS system.
• Balance and reconcile takings at the end of each designated shift in accordance with the Float Balance procedure.
• Undertake other duties within the scope of your skills, competence and training as directed.
Personal attributes to assist with the role include:
• An energetic approach to work
• A polished telephone manner
• Confidence with customer service
• A friendly and approachable demeanor
• Maturity
• A solution focused approach to problem solving
• High standards of personal presentation
• Passion for the hospitality / travel / tourism industry
Roster is provided fortnightly and shifts allocated accordingly. Hours of work are as below:
• Morning shift – 7am-2:30pm
• Evening shift – 2:30pm -10pm

Local provider Red Car Driver Training delivers the NSW Safer Drivers Course twice a month at the Quest Nowra. It helps young drivers on their L's prepare for driving solo when they graduate to provisional licences. As well as becoming a safer driver, they will earn a bonus 20 hours log book credit once you complete the course, so you only need to finish 100 hours of supervised driving outside the course.
