Wow!!! The Minister for Parks has announced a promotional fare reduction for Three Capes Track. From July 15th to August 31st you can experience the magic for only $250 per person. An update on the Hub Cafe...

The Hub Cafe will be closing its doors for winter at the end of next week's trading (last night April 10th).
Indra, our chef is going back to Nepal to visit family and, after several years of managing the cafe, I have decided I also need a break from its never-ending delights and challenges!
I would like to especially acknowledge and express my gratitude to Indra and his wife Bina for their commitment and the beautiful energy they have brought to the cafe. And of course, I sincerely acknowledge Indra's outstanding cooking abilities, his flair with presentation and the delicious food that was consistently produced. We look forward to seeing them both back here in a few years’ time - as they promised!
I would also like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all the wonderful patrons and guests who have experienced the Hub and its offerings over the years. Your appreciation and comments have made the whole experience worthwhile and have kept me going… Thank you.
We are currently exploring the possibility of a local co-op (open to all interested Tasman Peninsula residents) to run the business. If the co-op gets up and running, the cafe will reopen in Spring with fresh energy and new and exciting ideas…

Annual Rural Alive and Well (RAW) Royal Hobart Show Lunch - Tomorrow 23rd October 12pm to 2.30pm.

Rural Alive & Well Inc. is an incorporated not for profit organisation formed to create resilience and capacity of individuals, families and the community to react to challenging life experiences with particular emphasis on su***de prevention, mental health and wellbeing.

Tickets to this event are currently selling for $55 per person but Parsons Bay Retreat has some still available at the reduced rate of $45 per person.

Your ticket includes a two course meal, wine on arrival and entry into the showground’s and a ticket to win the lucky door prize as well as the opportunity to bid on some amazing auction offers. The Keynote speaker for this even is Matthew Evans from The Gourmet Farmer.

WINTER SPECIAL
Book 2 nights in either our Standard Studio/Motel (@ $108 per night) or our Self Catering Studio (@ $138 per night) for stays until the end of August and receive complimentary dinner for 2 people for both nights! That's a saving of $74. While not officially open for business as usual, our Chef creates a delicious and healthy 2 course 'pot luck' dinner every evening and is served at 6pm. Dinner options for our Friends and Guests this winter season...

Even though the Hub Cafe is officially closed for Winter, Indra (our amazing chef) prepares a delicious and healthy pot luck meal for residents and staff of the motel and Tasman Ecovillage every day. Everyone is welcome!!! Dine together with the village community or more privately at your own table.

Dinner is served at 6pm each evening in the Cafe. 2 courses for $18.50 per adult and $10 for children up to 12 yrs and there is always a vegetarian option. The bar is open from 5pm daily. Bookings by 4pm are essential.
