SHOW US YA WHEELS this year.
In a game of renovation roulette, aka whats going to fall down,
stop working
or go bang this weekā¦
I am sorry to say that we are running behind our āOctober finishā schedule and wonāt be opening as planned for the upcoming town events.
We have loved being a part of it over the years and have always thrown our support behind such fabulous projects, but this year it just wonāt happen.
Everything from upstairs is residing downstairs until itās ready to go back up.
The toilets are still awaiting their fix downstairs, and are therefore out of action, the last pipes to be replacedā¦ The walls are not dressed, and well, itās just too much to push forward with to be ready to open for the festivities at this time.
Yes, I know itās been a long renovationā¦.
I hear and see so many of you walking past while Iām having coffee in the front barā¦ because we still live hereā¦
fixing your hair in the mirrored windows, squishing your noses against the glass, looking up at the chipped paint, commenting on when we will open, telling stories of nights had hereā¦ they are hilarious to hearā¦ reminiscing about the years before us; we know this hotel carries a lot of historyā¦ I can feel it in the walls.
When we get there, hopefully very soon, Iāll let you know, but itās been great to see so many of you follow us through this journey of epic proportions at The Numurkah Hotel
