Looking for unique, Aussie-made gifts, toys, games, stationary, homewares, or essentials? 🎁
Then we highly recommend heading over to Adventure Awaits to find that perfect something!
Located on Melville Street in Numurkah (only a 5-minute drive from us), there is truly something there for everyone. ✨
WOO HOO… THIS IS PRETTY SPECIAL!! 🥳
Adventure Awaits has been named a finalist in TWO categories at the 2026 Moira Shire Business Excellence Awards:
🏆 Excellence in Retail & Personal Services
🏆 Outstanding Business Champion – Adele Dyson
To be recognised for both our little store AND the work behind the scenes over the past 13+ years means so much.
What started as a small regional shop in Numurkah has grown into something we never could have imagined.
We now have customers all over Australia, our own products sold through hundreds of stockists, including BCF stores nationally, a huge online community, multiple websites, Australian-made products and customers who literally travel to Numurkah just to visit our store.
And somehow… we still feel like a little local shop. ❤️
We’ve grown, renovated, expanded, grown online, created products from scratch, packed over 200,000 parcels, had some very questionable ideas 😂 and just kept backing ourselves.
But the best part has always been the people.
Our team. Our locals. Our online customers. Our stockists. The people who travel to see us. And all the amazing businesses, makers and suppliers we get to work with along the way.
We are SO proud to represent Numurkah, regional retail and what can be built from a little country town.
Whatever happens from here, being named finalists in both categories already feels like a massive win.
Thank you for being part of the Adventure Awaits story. ❤️
