Autumn is certainly in the air at Oakview.. crisp mornings and nights, things are starting to feel a little extra cosy with these cooler days on the horizon.. the creeks are crystal clear after all that rain and everything is looking so lush and green! 🌲

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our upcoming guests after a short hiatus while a new causeway was built at the entrance to our property making access to our property a whole lot better for our guests! 🤎

Welcome to one of South East Queenslands best hidden stays 🤎

Nestled away in the tiny town of Oakview, Queensland, our charming train carriage accommodation offers more than just a place to sleep. Fully converted into a cosy it was once many moons ago part of the freight train services delivering wheat and livestock operating along the Victorian railway tracks. Primarily used as a brakevan, then a guards van between 1960-late 1980s, it was one of only 15 built of its kind and still has many of its original features in tact.

Enjoy a crackling fire, a deep dip in the wood fired hot tub or explore one of the many beautiful winding creek ways just a stones throw from your accommodation, this is your place to rest, explore but most importantly, enjoy 🌿
